Richmond Hill Inn Tea & Art Auction

Photo Album featuring Jonas Gerard (use slide show option for best viewing)

Here's an album of photos of afternoon tea at the beautiful Richmond Hill Inn. A silent art auction as well as a splendid painting performance by Jonas Gerard was the attraction -- and thank heavens for Jonas's entertaining self, and his fabulous work-- for goodness knows, the Inn put out the skimpiest and least tasty tea, with the rudest service imaginable.

The waiters cleared the tables and then MOVED the tables, closing the rooms, before the event was even over, so one can only hope that any future benefits for the arts will not be held at the once-classy Richmond Hill Inn.

Like a friend of mine in the UK said, it was like an episode of "Fawlty Towers!"

In spite of everything, we had a good time, and I only hope my bid on a ceramic tile of Jonas's wins it for me.
