Me and my Migun

The day finally arrived when my Migun was delivered! I cannot tell you how thrilled and excited I am. For weeks now, I have been going to the Migun Center to get my 1/2 hour 'fixes' and now I have the Migun in my own home, in my own bedroom. I am using it twice a day. I am blissed out!!!

What is it?

The MIGUN Thermal Massage System is a fusion of Eastern and Western medical techniques. The Korean engineer who created it combined the modalities of acupressure, acupuncture, heat therapy (moxibustion), chiropractic and massage in one table.

How did you hear about it?

Word of mouth. There is a Center on Hendersonville Road, next door to FastFrame (where my art is being sold). When I originally went to Migun's Orientation, even after all the wonderful things people had told me, I was sure I was hearing a 'snake oil' lecture on some 'too good to be true' scam. But then we were told that the Migun Centers (located all over the world) offer FREE use of their Center's tables to anyone (providing you did not have advanced osteoporosis, phlebitis, metallic implants, or possible fractured bones) as long as they wished. And indeed, hundreds of people all over Asheville are lining up every day to wait their turn on one of these amazing beds. Migun of Asheville is going to move to larger quarters in June because the parking lot cannot accomodate all the people arriving for their free sessions. In addition, Migun promises that there will NEVER be a sales pitch or any kind of pressure to buy a table, though of course they are for sale --and in fact do sell like hot cakes. They can't keep them in stock. I bought mine after 8 sessions at the Center.

So, what does it do for you?

I have sciatica and arthritis in the back and my left thumb. My hip and thumb hurt all the time. I was signed up to get surgery on my thumb, it was so bad. This is all past tense. Since I started using Migun, the pain has just disappeared! And there are many other benefits as well. I feel better altogether. It is hard to tell anyone. It's something you have to experience for yourself.

The bed has moving rollers that are created with helium gas bulbs and jade-massage heads that create far infrared rays that stimulate deep into the body tissue. It is a rolling massage, NOT a vibrating, punching staccato like some machines you've seen. But it is firm and strong and moves the length of the body, head to ankle in eight different programs of massage. It touches and massages the acupuncture and acupressure points up and down the spine and in the legs. I know it must sound like Buck Rogers (and in some respects it truly is out of this world) but it works, and it's going to be a household word in a few short years because of its incredible value and the quality of the therapy. They are using these tables in hospitals in Asia and Europe. We have had them in the USA for only two years, and already the centers are spreading everywhere. Scotland has them but England hasn't as yet. I'm sure soon.

At the Centers, people spontaneously write testimonials (I did!) about what the bed does for them. It's amazing. Everything from arthritis to dandruff to obesity to diabetes. Backs. Knees. Necks. People are truly getting helped. But like I said, it's very difficult to TELL anyone about it. You have to experience it.

I did tell the Asheville Migun owner that I wish every business in America operated with the kindness and integrity that Migun does. Free use of their product! Without limitations or loopholes, demands or spin. It's inspiring.

If you have any aches and pains, check it out! There's a map on their website showing where the Centers are in America, and a query you can run to find addresses for centers in many parts of the world.

And by the way, NO, I am NOT selling them. This is word of mouth. Don't say nobody told you about them. It would be irresponsible of me to not let you know what an amazing discovery it is. And yes, they're very pricey ($3000 plus) so it's not something that you consider lightly.

My personal spa

So, I have mine in my master bedroom, behind a standing screen. There are two hand held devices that come with the table. Wrapped in a towel, they can be used any way you want. The small (2 lights) one can be used under your neck, to enhance the massage there. The other one can be held wherever you might need it. (I put it on my hip). Some people put it on their stomachs to enhance digestion, etc. The lights are warm, and the whole experience is one of warmth, massage, and well being.

I'm having guests for dinner on Sunday, and one of them has already asked if he can come early to take a Migun before dinner. ha! If he can get me off it!

Comments:
Hello-I just wanted to agree with you. I discovered Migun in Ann Arbor, MI a few months ago, and I have been hooked ever since. It's the most amazing thing I've ever experience-especially because it's free! I can't wait to buy one so I can use it 3 times a day! I tell everyone about it, and yes, most people can't believe it until they try it.
I am a huge health and nutrition fanatic, and this complements a healthy lifestyle perfectly.

Nice to hear from you Brittany. Yes,
it's a wonderful part of a healthy lifestyle!!
